The “Certificate of Conformity” also called “COC” and in some countries called “Homologation Certificate” is a very imported document required to register an imported new and used vehicle in some countries, and car cannot be register without COC in many countries. The Japan Inspection Organization (JIO) issues Certificate of Conformity for all used and new Japanese and non-Japanese automobiles.

PROCEDURE:

* Fill-in the Form-1 & Form 2 and send us by fax at No. 03-5481-1660 or scanned copy by E-mail at E-mail address is not active to avoid spam

* In order to get “Certificate of Conformity”, bring the vehicle to any nationwide inspection center of this Organization for physical inspection and emission test.

* An appointment for the inspection date is required in advance.

* The “Certificate of Conformity” will be issue after 5 working days of inspection.

* In some cases, COC certificate can be issue of vehicles that is already exported to overseas countries from Japan. Please contact with detail of car.

 

FEE: The fee is Japanese Yen 50,000.- (see currency exchange rate) per certificate.

HOW TO PAY FEE: Payment from overseas is accepted by Paypal, Credit card, and wire transfer.
However, payment in Japan is accepted by Bank transfer only.
