In below terms & conditions “Client” means the company, organization or individual, seeking / applying for all service provided by Japan Inspection Organization.
These terms and conditions govern the issue of all reports, documents and certificates by Japan Inspection Organization (JIO) to the Client.
No person acting or purporting to act on behalf of Japan Inspection Organization shall have authority to waive or change these terms orally. Waivers or changes shall have effect only if made in writing and signed by a duly authorized officer of Japan Inspection Organization.
Japan Inspection Organization may change these terms and conditions at any time by notifying the Client.
Japan Inspection Organization agrees to provide and the Client agrees to accept the applied service requested by the Client.
The Client must pay to Japan Inspection Organization all fees due in respect of Documentation and Certification Services provided by Japan Inspection Organization to the Client.
The fee paid by Client to Japan Inspection Organization is not refundable in any conditions.
Japan Inspection Organization reserves the right to amend Certificate Fees at any time without prior notice.
The Client agrees to comply with the applicable Certification procedures and to provide all supporting documents required by Japan Inspection Organization.
The Client must promptly comply with any physical inspection requirement of goods/product/merchandise by inspectors of Japan Inspection Organization.
The Client accepts responsibility for the safety of Japan Inspection Organization’s inspectors during physical inspection activities.
The Client warrants that all information made available to Japan Inspection Organization is to the best of its knowledge and belief, complete, and accurate.
The Japan Inspection Organization reserves the right to refuse Client’s application/request to issue Certificate without giving any reason.
The Certificate issued by Japan Inspection Organization will be expired after 90 days.
The Client must not alter, modify or deface the Certificate issued by Japan Inspection Organization.
The Client must promptly inform Japan Inspection Organization of any change in relation to the certified product, process or service that is likely to substantially affect the Certification, including change of address or other premises.
The copy of Certificate for reuse purpose is prohibited. However, the Client shall be entitled to make copies for its internal purposes only.
The Certificate issued by Japan Inspection Organization is not focused to any specific country, but for all countries and continents.
The Japan Inspection Organization will not force any accreditation, regulatory, government or statutory authority to accept/refuse Certificate.
The Client’s Certificate shall be suspended with immediate effect if the Client is in breach of Terms and Conditions of Japan Inspection Organization.
The Client’s Certificate shall be suspended with immediate effect if in the case of any product subject to Certification, there has been a significant change in design or manufacture of such product without the Client notifying the change to Japan Inspection Organization for its review.
The Client’s detail will be treated as confidential and not disclose to any third party except judicial, governmental or other regulatory body and law enforcement agencies in Japan.
The quality, environmental, safety, health and other certificate will be issued in accordance with Japan national standards.
In case of lost of Certificate, Client will immediately inform the issuing Authority. A new Certificate with a new Certificate number will be issued by Japan Inspection Organization for that Client will pay fee, while the lost Certificate will be cancelled.
