While buying a used car, buyer is always worry if the record of used vehicle claimed by the seller is correct or not. Seller sometime unintentionally forward wrong information to the buyer. The Japan Inspection Organization (JIO) can provide complete history record of any used or new vehicle once registered and driven on Japanese roads. The vehicle history record will be issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). In order to apply “Vehicle History Record” for any Japanese or non-Japanese vehicle imported from Japan or intending to buy from a car dealer or individual person, inform chassis number (also called the frame number or vin number) of vehicle. The complete history record of vehicle will be sent by Fedex speed courier within five (5) working days after confirmation of fee.
